BIKE STOLEN

On Wednesday after a day of the hop on off bus we returned to our bikes, to find only Byrdies bike left and both bike locks cut... Byrdie was suprised (almost offended) that they took mine and not hers. I reassured her that mine was the easiest (outside) bike to take... not that it was better than hers.

So we spent a while finding the police station. then getting a police report done. in french. for insurance... it was obvious that they were doing their paperwork and nothing could or would be done... as expected.

within half an hour Byrdie got really excited about getting a new bike... so the hunt has begun... meanwhile we have purchased a new super duper bike lock (which is REALLY heavy)
