We arrived in Ancona, Italy (again) just after 7am.
We had a few hours to fill in before taking train to Venice. Byrdie suggested cycling towards 'centro'. I agreed, anticipating sitting in a park or square and relaxing. But she spotted a supermarket sign. Before I know it, I'm trying to keep up with her as we do a mission up hills, the wrong way down one way streets...
45 minutes alter we find a supermarket and she is satisfied.
we then did another trip to another supermarket right near the train station...
Then on the train fully loaded with snacks for our trip...
